Purchase Travel Insurance Online
A friend is over here from the USA for 2 weeks. In the 2 weeks we will be going to Amsterdam from London for a day and the package deal has told me he MUST have travel insurance for that single trip.
Are there any UK agents that will offer a US resident travel insurance? If not, would be be able to contact a US travel insurance company now that he is in the UK to get that insurance for that single trip?

My friends and I want to take a long long road trip across the US. We’d be going by car. Her brother said paying for car insurance would be more expensive while traveling so it wouldn’t work out.
Is he right? And how do you pay insurance when you’re out on the road anyways?
We are in the adoption process, waiting for a match with a birth mother. We could literally get a call today that says "a baby was just born, come now" or it could be that the mother is 4 months pregnant and we have some warning. Needless to say it is hard to plan anything. A relative has offered to send us to Costa Rica for a week. We are hesitant because we may have to cancel the trip at the last minute.
Would travel insurance cover this?
My boyfriend who is in the USAF, it’s half way and his parents and I have been planning on going to his graduation on the 24th of April. We have booked everything and also added the trip insurance just in case. We have a lot of questions and I we don’t know if the website is correct in everything that it says. We found that they said that he will have Friday Saturday and Sunday off base Saturday being the only day that he will have the full day off. I was wondering if that is true or not, also, what about his base liberty also? Does that mean that he can walk around the base with us, eat with us on base, I was wondering if anyone has graduated or knows someone who has graduated recently and can tell me what it was like and what happened. His mom has talked to the base and they said to follow what they have on the website but that things are always subject to change. So if anyone can tell me what happened, what they expierienced and possibly the things they did while they were there. Also the restrictions that the airmen have. I know that we have to go to a briefing but I am trying to get things settled before hand. Thanks!

Ok, well to start off, this is a question that is for people who want to read a longgg, sad, story about someone who has become lonely, depressed, and heartbroken. If you are not one of these people, please do not make smartass remarks on this page. Thank you.
I met a girl in our school when she started talking to me about her friend who liked me. I didnt like her friend, i secretly liked her. Well once this girl, lets call her kenna, started talking to me, we became good friends. Over a time period of 3 months, we became pretty much best friends and we really trusted eachother. I finally asked her to be my girlfriend in January. She said yes and that was the beginning of an amazing relationship. It wasnt really much of anything at first, we just texted ALOT, just like many other teen couples. Except out texting wasnt the stereotypical texting-u, ur, lmao, gtg…etc. It was REAL conversations that were just like talking. They meant more than stupid little short texts. Well, in march, things began big time. While skiiing with all the friends on friday night, i hit a tree going extremely fast. I was knocked unconcious for a couple minutes. When i woke up everything was in a daze. Sirens all over, people screaming, crying. From what ive heard, blood covered the snow around my head. I was sent to a top notch hospital at 3 in the morning. I was drugged up pretty good so i didnt know what was going on. I had 2 surgeries that morning. I had snapped my femur, broken 4 bones in my face, both bones in my arm, had a concussion, and came very close to breaking my neck. I almost lost my life that night. I was in the hospital for a week. kenna was there on the weekend with all my other friends. the room was filled with get well decorations. kenna held my hand the entire time she was there. she cried when she saw the pain i was in. everyone did. when i got home, she and the friends had decorated my entire house. i stayed in the living room in a hospital bed for the next 2 months. no school. friends came over on friday nights to watch movies, hang out, whatever they wanted to do. the 1st couple times i was in a daze from the drugs. everyone cared about me. and the first day in the hospital, kenna told me she loved me. we werent the couple that said the fake i love yous. she has never said that before. and from then on, we were in love. we had tough times but it always got better. we would talk about our love, and we would talk about how we were going to be there for eachother for a long time. it was amazing. i was loved by someone other than my parents. it was the best feeling in the world. over spring break, everyone went away. i was supposed to go to jamaica but thank GOD we bought trip insurance the day of my accident. ha, total coinsedence. but kenna happened to be going to jamaica too. we were going to go together, another coinsedence. but then the accident happened and we couldnt. so when she went she left me a card for every day she was gone. she cared so much about me. i did the same for her when she was there. over the summer, kenna broke her leg, and her doctor effed it up so she was in a full leg cast for 3 months. i was there for her all the time. my parents are her parents became friends, i would always go to her house, it was perfect. We are both upper-middle class families who live pretty much across town. shes in a really nice neighborhood, im in the country with a nice house. everything was good. sure we had fights but they always worked out. Our anniversary, valentines day, and my accident anniversary were all days that showed the connection we had. they were amazing. we were in LOVE. then towards the end of march, things happened…she began to think i didnt want to do much of anything anymore.(ill explain later). part of this was because there was an incident where i thought all the parents didnt trust our group of friends. another one of my friends lives on kennas street and they decided to sneak out. i decided to be responisble and stay behind, in fear that her dad would find out and not trust me anymore. by the way, her parents absolutely loved me. i could talk with them just like friends. well turns out they did get caught and i was afraid that the parents thought i was involved. i got scared and didnt go to a couple parties. kenna thought i didnt want to hang out with her. i never really had her over much either. the only times were when i was in the hospital bed. one week, she told me she didnt feel as much for me as she did before, she didnt love me anymore…i was heartbroken…i tried to fix it but it didnt work. she broke up with me a week before spring break. i was crushed. i lost my little girl, the love of my life, my world…my life was gone. she was everything. i made the mistake of repeatedly calling her, telling her id change, that i still love her. i took her for granted, when she dumped me, i realized how much more i cared. i realized that she was more to me than i could have imagi
I’m going to St.Thomas in the USVI’s August 24th. The forecast shows that the two potential tropical depressions moving off of Africa are going to impact this region THAT week…HOPEFULLY..the hurricanes will miss that part..but just in general..IF a hurricane were to hit..how long is one place affected? How long does it take for it to pass the island? I’m just wondering that if I go and one does it..how many days will we be experiencing the storm? I went to the Bahamas in 07 during Hurricane Dean and didnt even get a drop of rain..I guess it was too far away. I can’t really find the answer to how long a hurricane impacts ONE specific place..only how long the actual duration of the storm is (8-12 days etc.)..anyone know? I didnt get trip insurance because I booked the vacation about a week ago…and it wasn’t offered, so please don’t suggest trip insurance!
I was charged ,000 for a 4-mile ambulance trip, and my insurance paid 0. Now the EMS company wants me to pay the balance. I think the charges are ridiculous, and I wonder if they would write off the balance since they’ve gotten some money out of my insurer?

It includes airfare, food, a hotel, park admissions, transportation, a bilingual guide on the entire trip 10,000 insurance and a great experience. My parents think it’s too much… What’s your opinion? I’m taking a trip later this month and will rent a car for a couple of days. Should I choose insurance, the minimal cost is around per day, so it’s not too much or anything. I am backpacking round OZ for 6 months at the end of this month, I am leaving from the UK. I need insurance pretty sharpish to confirm my trip, but I am confused as to what one is the best policy to have considering I’ll be surfing and skydiving I expect?!! what is the best policy I can get for the cheapest price? Medical cover is my main concern.I have got a quote from boots fro £170 and they offer 10 million on health care and one from endsleigh for £140 but they only offer 1 million medical cover. I am so confused about what to go for!! Please, if you can help that’d be great!!

I know I cannot collect unemployment while I am gone (probably one-two months). My question is, can I start collecting when I get back or will I no longer be eligible? I live in Kentucky and am interested in purchasing a car from a private party in another state. I want to have the title transferred into someone else’s name for insurance purposes, but they cannot make the trip. I am not sure how to do this. my boyfriend just got his cdl and would like to to maybe accompany him on some cross country trips. i couldn’t imagine the company he works for letting that happen.
About three years ago I had to make a trip to the emergency room. I had insurance, but I didn’t have my card on me. Shortly after, I moved out of state. The hospital sent me a bill, and I believe my insurance company may have sent me a check. I am no longer with the same insurance company. I am wondering if I were to call them, if they would be able to lookup and reprint a check if I have never cashed it? Or if they would pay off the claim if I was with their company at the time.
I plan on going on a road trip and want to know if my auto insurance covers my friends if they drive my car?
I was looking to get temporary car cover for next month (UK) when I will be co-driving my boyfriend’s car for a trip to Cornwall. I will obviously go on his insurance if need be but if anything happens it will affect his no claims bonus which I’m not happy about (though I do have faith in my driving abilities). I passed in August and most temporary insurance companies will only insure if you’ve driven for 12 months or more – does anyone know of any that have a different policy to that?
