How to raise money to study abroad in Japan?

Senior Travel Insurance | Posted by admin
Feb 25 2010

I’m a high school junior at the moment. next year I’m planning to spend my first semester studying abroad in Japan. I’m hopping to attend OGSHS (Osaka Girl’s Senior High School) in Osaka Japan. I need help finding ways to raise money for the tuition and expenses for while I’m there (plane tickets, travel cost while there, food, health insurance, visa/passport. you get the point)

Please, if anyone has and helpful information I would very much need it.

So I’m writing a novel…and this is the prologue. It’s just supposed to introduce everything. Can you guys make comments (like what you like, what you don’t, what you don’t understand, what I should add, etc)? I need to know if it’s clear enough and intriguing enough. Thanks! <3

before we began: Everyone’s life deserves to be written into a story. Including mine because seriously, I’ve worked so hard and struggled so much to get to where I am today yet I never seem to be completely satisfied. The thing is, nothing really tragic has ever happened to me or my family, nothing really novel-worthy. Sure, my grandfather died a couple years back (but we knew that it was gonna happen sooner or later so that was one of those “what the hay?” sort of situations. Only then, my mother would go “hay is for horses” and I would glare at her, resisting the urge to punch her in the lip). Hmm, oh yes, one time, someone shattered the window of our minivan which was parked in front of an apartment building when we were visiting friends (but we had car insurance…you know, that’s what car insurance is for, plus that situation only tells you how dangerous New York City can be at night). When I was in seventh grade, the doctor told my mom she had ovarian cysts (not that I even know anything about ovarian cysts except for that it made my mom incapable of having more babies…why my mom would want to have another baby? I don’t know) but they disappeared after she went on some sort of expensive medication. I really think that’s pretty much it; we’ve never been robbed, there’s never been unexpected deaths and/or losses of anyone special, and I’m pretty sure my parents aren’t bankrupt. See? Nothing dramatic, nothing exactly life altering. Nothing at all that would be interesting enough to make into a bestseller suspense novel. Or something of the sort.

Most people who write about themselves have exciting lives and so doing something like going to their aunt’s place up in London, Ontario less than three hundred twenty-five miles away wouldn’t be considered the biggest decision of their life. But I had never traveled more than a mile out of New York border so it was really a big step for me. When I packed my bags and boarded my train, I was happy. I was so glad that I was leaving my parents once and for all, that I could get away from the urbanness of New York. My parents were a little bit teary (well more of my mom) but it’s probably more because of the fact that I had decided to move to Canada instead of finishing high school at NY Prep (I know, the school name could not get anymore conceited) like they planned for their little genius daughter (I’m not even that smart) to do. Then they’d expect me to go to Harvard or something. I’m still a senior, yeah, but on top of finishing my last year in high school, my mom’s making me take college courses at the University of Western Ontario. It’s the only reason that convinced her to actually let me come here. College material stuff, baby. It’d be hard, but it was so worth getting outta the cruddy place. So I guess that the very last thing I expected was to reminisce over all the little memories in my life. The moment I stepped off that three hour train ride and saw my tall aunt waving at me with my little cousin, Sunny’s hand in hers, everything seemed perfect. My life was starting over. I didn’t see any of my future coming. Nor did I forsee falling in love. But sometimes, one time, you meet a person and with just one glance, you know the two of you are meant to be. Or so you think. At first.

Have you noticed how different your needs are the older you become? Forget a 3 bedroom house.?

That just means more house to keep clean. I need that money to travel, and have fun…I may drop dead tomorrow. Since the children and grands just visit – air beds are great.
The only thing that stays constant is the need for good friends. They are as precious as your health.
Our sense of humour keeps us young.
A few good quality items are already on the hangers….No more shopping sprees lets go to lunch!
TV is a constant companion that and the telephone is a must. .
But the more simple my life now the better.
No car, no insurance no gas….everyone else seems to have one!

Have your wants and needs changed as a senior ?

Palestinian sympathizers – Were your hearts with these people too?

Senior Travel Insurance | Posted by admin
Nov 05 2009

Before you is a "small" list of Israeli victims due to Palestinian terrorism starting from September 2000. Roughly 75% of the list is civilians – Including women, children and babies. This was going on for years before the Israeli government finally acted as it should to stop radical forces. Where were your pro-humanitarian protests when this was going on?

Sept 27, 2000 – Sgt. David Biri, 19, of Jerusalem, was fatally wounded in a bombing near Netzarim in the Gaza Strip.

Sept 29, 2000 – Border Police Supt. Yosef Tabeja, 27, of Ramle was shot to death by his Palestinian counterpart on a joint patrol near Kalkilya.

Oct 1, 2000 – Border Police Cpl. Madhat Yusuf, 19, of Beit Jann, died of gunshot wounds sustained in a gun battle with Palestinians at Joseph’s Tomb in Nablus.

Oct 2, 2000 – Wichlav Zalsevsky, 24, of Ashdod, was shot in the head in the village of Masha on the trans-Samaria highway.
Sgt. Max Hazan, 20, of Dimona, died of gunshot injuries sustained near Beit Sahur.

Oct 8, 2000 – The bullet-riddled body of Hillel Lieberman, 36, of Elon Moreh was found at the southern entrance to Nablus.

Oct 12, 2000 – First Cpl. Yosef Avrahami and First Sgt. Vadim Norzhich, 33, two reserve IDF soldiers, were lynched by a Palestinian mob at the police building in Ramallah.

Oct 19, 2000 – Rabbi Binyamin Herling, 64, of Kedumim, was killed when Fatah members and Palestinian security forces opened fire on a group of Israeli men, women, and children on a trip at Mount Ebal near Nablus.

Oct 28, 2000 – The body of Marik Gavrilov, 25, of Bnei Aysh was found inside his burned-out car, between the village of Bitunia and Ramallah.

Oct 30, 2000 – Eish-Kodesh Gilmor, 25, of Mevo Modi’in, was shot and killed while on duty as a security guard at the National Insurance Institute’s East Jerusalem branch. Another guard was injured.
Amos Machlouf, 30, of the Gilo neighborhood in Jerusalem, was found murdered in a ravine near Beit Jala.

Nov 1, 2000 – Lt. David-Hen Cohen, 21, of Karmiel and Sgt. Shlomo Adshina, 20, of Kibbutz Ze’elim were killed in a shooting incident in the Al-Hader area, near Bethlehem.

Nov 1, 2000 – Maj. (res.) Amir Zohar, 34, of Jerusalem was killed in the Nahal Elisha settlement in the Jordan Valley while on active reserve duty.

Nov 2, 2000 – Ayelet Shahar Levy, 28, and Hanan Levy, 33, were killed in a car bomb explosion near the Mahane Yehuda market in Jerusalem. 10 people were injured in the blast. The Islamic Jihad claimed responsibility for the attack.

Nov 8, 2000 – Noa Dahan, 25, of Moshav Mivtahim in the south, was shot to death while driving to her job at the Rafah border crossing in Gaza.

Nov 10, 2000 – Sgt. Shahar Vekret, 20, of Lod was fatally shot by a Palestinian sniper near Rachel’s Tomb at the entrance to Bethlehem.

Nov 11, 2000 – Sgt. 1st Class Avner Shalom, 28, of Eilat, was killed in a shooting attack at the Gush Katif junction in the Gaza Strip.

Nov 13, 2000 – Sarah Leisha, 42, of Neveh Tzuf was killed by gunfire from a passing car while travelling near Ofra, north of Ramallah.
Cpl. Elad Wallenstein, 18, of Ashkelon, and Cpl. Amit Zanna, 19, of Netanya were killed by gunfire from a car passing the military bus carrying them near Ofra.

Nov 13, 2000 – Gabi Zaghouri, 36, of Netivot was killed by gunfire directed at the truck he was driving near the Kissufim junction in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

Nov 18, 2000 – St.-Sgt. Baruch (Snir) Flum, 21, of Tel-Aviv was shot and killed by a senior Palestinian Preventive Security Service officer who infiltrated the Kfar Darom greenhouses in the Gaza Strip.
St.-Sgt. Sharon Shitoubi, 21, of Ramle, wounded in the Palestinan shooting attack in Kfar Darom, died of his wounds on Nov 20.

Nov 20, 2000 – Miriam Amitai, 35, and Gavriel Biton, 34, both of Kfar Darom, were killed when a roadside bomb exploded alongside a bus carrying children from Kfar Darom to school in Gush Katif. Nine others, including 5 children, were injured.

Nov 21, 2000 – Itamar Yefet, 18, of Netzer Hazani died from a gunshot wound to the head by Palestinian sniper fire at the Gush Katif junction.

Nov 22, 2000 – Shoshana Reis, 21, of Hadera, and Meir Bahrame, 35, of Givat Olga, were killed, and 60 wounded when a powerful car bomb was denotated alongside a passing bus on Hadera’s main street, when the area was packed with shoppers and people driving home from work. 60 were wounded in the blast.

Nov 23, 2000 – Lt. Edward Matchnik, 21, of Beersheba, was killed in an explosion at the District Coordination Office near Gush Katif in the Gaza Strip. (The joint DCOs were established at the borders of Palestinian-ruled areas under the interim peace accords and were responsible for coordinating security and humanitarian cooperation.)

Nov 23, 2000 – Sgt. Samar Hussein, 19, of Hurfeish, was killed when Palestinian snipers opened fire at soldiers patrolling the border fence near the Erez crossing.

Nov 24, 20
Unfortunately it doesn’t display the whole list. Look at it here:

http://www.mfa.gov.il/MFA/Terrorism-+Obstacle+to+Peace/Palestinian+terror+since+2000/Victims+of+Palestinian+Violence+and+Terrorism+sinc.htm

And please – Do read some of it, not just scroll over it.
To "Try Hard" – Yes, I do sympathize with them. That’s why I wish this conflict ended as fast as possible, so the poor Palestinians can be released from the claws of Hamas who is holding them hostage, as you can see in this video of Hamas killing people for singing and dancing:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7_OGhj43GAE

vasiliki – Absolutely. The chart shows the Israelies dead from suicide bombings. If you read the entire year 2000 list, you’ll see that there weren’t any Israelies dead that year from SUICIDE bombing. As I said – Don’t scroll over it, read it.
dumdum – Actually there aren’t that many IDF killed there. FAR less than the % of Hamas members killed in the current Gaza operation.
Grant M – Unfortunately I was unable to find such a list. The unmber of killed Palestinians is usually based on estimations by the Hamas or UN[usually with Palestinian "civilians" providing information]. The deaths are often not confirmed. Nothing shows it best as this 2 piece footage, where you can see in the 2nd part, when Palestinians carry a body of a man killed by the IDF and they accidently drop it – The body gets up and gets back on the stretcher.

"Freedom fighter is no terrorist" – The Sabra and Shatila massacre was commited by the Christian Phalanges in Lebanon.

Psychology Project. Help Please If You Are An Actually Psychologist.?

Senior Travel Insurance | Posted by admin
Oct 07 2009

Okay. I am a senior in high school and I need some help. For Consumer Education we are doing a project that involves a possible job that we might do in the future. Well I am choosing to be a Psychologist; whether its being a Clinical or Counseling Psychologist.

First off what is the difference between the two? I wanted to be one of the choices that helped people, mostly by giving advice. But whatever makes me more happier working with what ever. Okay so here are the questions:

1.) What is the base salary-whether it is hourly, weekly, or yearly. If you could give me all that would be helpful.
2.) When and how will I be paid?
3.) How often are raises given, and on what are they based?
4.) What education is required?
5.) Is further training required or will training take place on the job?
6.) What are the special skills, if any, are required?
7.) Where can I get the training I need for the job?
8.) Is it private or public services work?
9.) Is there any risk involved?
10.) Is there security furnished after hours?
11.) Are there constant working hours, or do they vary?
12.) Would I be expected to travel in this job?
13.) Might I have to relocate in the future in order to retain employment?
14.) Must I join a Union?
15.) What are the health insurance plans? Who pays? Is family coverage provided?
16.) Is life insurance provided?
17.) What are the sick leave policies?
18.) What is the retirement program? Is there a mandatory requirement of age?

Now I know this is a lot of questions, but please keep in mind that I will do some research also. It would be really helpful if you were in these fields or if you are studying like I said.
LOL speedy. He made me realize that I should have been asking some questions and NOT an interview like he said :P
Okay so answer some questions for me please and whatever question you answer please right the number of the question next to your answer. ^^;
This project is due this friday (9-4-09 i think)

Medical Insurance for a returning American Senior Citizen?

Senior Travel Insurance | Posted by admin
Aug 02 2009

I am trying to ascertain whether my grandmother qualifies for any form of medical insurance plan that would provide comprehensive coverage.

She was born in the state of Michigan, in 1927. She is 82 years of age, had a valid United States Passport despite not living in any of the states until recently. She is able to reapply/renew her passport should this be necessary, and is in possession of her US birth certificate. As she was born in America, she is free to return whenever she pleases and does not have to leave.

In view of her husband’s recent death, she intends to travel to the States to live alongside her sister and two daughters until she comes to pass away – there is no longer any reason for her to live in Europe.

Does anyone know whether insuring her is possible?

We have succeeded in getting her travel insurance insofar, as aside from a mild case of thrombosis several years back and for which she takes daily medication, she is very good health and has no other pre-existing conditions.

Please help if you can…Thanks in advance

Criminal- and civil-liability?

Senior Travel Insurance | Posted by admin
Jul 27 2009

I am an American living with my Mexican wife in Tijuana, Mexico, just over the border from San Diego, California. A dangerous place but a truly fascinating culture and a people that I love!
Five-and-a-half years ago, when working in San Diego CA as an engineer with a high-tech company, Bush invaded Iraq.
Shortly afterwards, the company’s manager, a rightwinger and a gun-nut (pardon me: A Second Amendment defender!) ordered all employees to pose for a group photo in front of the company building to, as he said, “show support for the troops,” and all of us to hold-up our hands, giving the two-fingered victory salute. This was just days after I started working there.
I refused to participate, being opposed to the war and being a ‘hard Leftie’ (a Marxist) in general.
The miserable a__hole told me that if I didn’t participate he would fire me immediately as I was not yet past the 90-day probation period, therefore not subject to the company grievance-procedure.
So I posed for the shot, giving ‘the finger’ instead, knowing that I would be fired for it anyway (how very mature!). And I was fired immediately.
Two days ago, while riding the San Diego city trolley back to the border to cross back into Mexico, I ran into a friend who now works for the same company. He told me that the boss drives down to Mexico every other weekend to fish in nearby Ensenada and that he always makes the drive in his brand-new S.U.V. And, that he boasts that he travels with a loaded .45 pistol under the front seat, a felony in this part of Mexico that gets one a required minimum eighteen months in prison.
I asked my friend to write-down and give to me the license number of the S.U.V. and the description of it and send it to me by e-mail, my plan being to tipoff the Mexican border guard agency (a senior-ranking official of them is my nextdoor neighbor and my wife teaches his ten year-old daughter English) so that they will be on the alert and pull the bum over after he crosses in a weekend or two.
Knowing how things work down here: He will be jailed without bail, the gun and the S.U.V. consfiscated and disappear into the ‘system’ (and American insurance policies do not pay for a car that is stolen or consfiscated in Mexico!)
And, he will not be released until he or his family pays a ‘bond’ of, at the very least, twenty-thousand dollars (or as much as they think he can pay), and after release he will be ordered to never again set foot in Mexico.
Then, I want to get the word to him that I am the one who caused the whole thing (while protecting my friend’s complicity)! If this happens as I hope, it will be a 0,000+ disaster for him.
My question for you: Is there any way that this could rebound on me legally per American criminal law? As a legal layman I assume not, as I am simply reporting a serious crime to the authorities of the country in which I live. But I want to be sure.
Could he sue me in a Californian civil court? If he can, no problem as I have absolutely nothing to attach north of the border.
Thanx for the advice!

Legitimate Work From Home Companies?

Senior Travel Insurance | Posted by admin
Jul 16 2009

Seems this question rolls around at least twice a year on Ask Yahoo. The last posting was five months ago, so I’m resubmitting the question in hopes of getting updated information. I am a single parent of one, trying very hard to make it on a single income. I have a court order stating that my ex-husband is to pay 0 per week in child support, but it seems he has fallen off the planet and took his money with him. Instead of paying an attorney 0 per hour in an attempt to find him, file contempt charges and hope he shows up for the hearing, I’ve decided to take the bull by the horns and make an effort to supplement my income by working from home via my computer, etc. Can anyone suggest a work from home company that is not a scam?

I have been an administrative assistant for the past twenty-five years. My experience is immeasurable as I have done:
Basic clerical work,
Worked for FEMA onsite for four months by processing applications for storm victims for temporary financial assistance and housing. My employer continued to pay salary, travel, meals and living arrangements for employees who would volunteer to assist FEMA.
I can file insurance claims (medical and death) in my sleep.
Property deed and title research vesting, parcel identification, recording information, legal description, assessment and tax status.
Research involved speaking with company management, communicating with external research sources, assessing customer’s, supplier’s, and competitor’s data. Compiled financial data and projections to submit to senior analyst to aid in his investment recommendations.
Created Y2K database for large hospital system in an effort to insure equipment was Y2K compatible.
Customer Service.

Probably at little more information than you needed, but there might be someone out there that knows of a company that can benefit from my experience.

I AM NOT a good cold caller, nor a salesperson. Not interested in companies that state “for just .99 (or some other amount) we will send you our Work from Home book loaded with companies in your area that need help now”. Yeah, right. If a company is looking for help they’re not going to charge you a fee, or require money to get started.

I would be able to put in approximately 15 hours, Monday – Thursday, longer hours on Friday and as much time needed Saturday and Sunday.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Want to move and need help finding a job.?

Senior Travel Insurance | Posted by admin
Jul 10 2009

I am 23 years old and a senior in college majoring in Marketing. I have lived in Jacksonville, FL my whole life. I want to move away and experience a new city on my own. I attend online school, so moving will not be a problem. I’m not picky on location, except I want it to be a larger city, preferably on the coast.

I currently have 5 years of experience with insurance and a little bit of mortgage experience. I am willing to travel for interviews, etc. I just need help finding a job. I don’t have particular cities I’m interested in, so I’m not sure how I begin my job search. I have my resume posted on monster.com and careerbuilder.com already.

Anyone have any ideas of places with really good job markets? Preferably a nice place for young single females also? Where should I start and I do I get companies interest in me?

Mexican Jokes Of The Week?

Senior Travel Insurance | Posted by admin
Jun 24 2009

Jose arrives at the Mexican border on his bike with 2 huge bags over his shoulders. The guard stops him and asks: "What's in the bags?"

"Senior, It's only sand." replies Jose.

"Sand??? Well, we'll just see about that – get off the bike!"

The guard takes the bags, rips them open, empties them out and finds nothing in them…except sand. Detaining Jose overnight, the sand is analysed, but only to discover it is in fact simply sand.

Jose is released, the sand is put into new bags and placed on Jose's shoulders, and he is let across the border.

Next day, same thing happens. The guard asks: "What you got there?"

"Sand," says Jose.

A thorough examination of the bags again shows there to be nothing but sand, and subsequently Jose is allowed to ride across the border.

For a whole year this continues until one day Jose doesn't show up, and the guard discovers him in a Cantina in Mexico.

"Hey, Bud," says the guard, "I know you're smuggling something. For a year it's driven me crazy. It's all I can think about… I can't get sleep, the kids are getting neglected…heck, even the dog senses I'm beginning to lose it! Between you and me, just what are you smuggling?"

Jose sips his beer, smiles and replies: "Bicycles…"
Two guys are bungee-jumping one day. The first guy says to the second. "You know, we could make a lot of money running our own bungee-jumping service in Mexico." The second guy thinks this is a great idea, so the two pool their money and buy everything they'll need – a tower, an elastic cord, insurance, etc.

They travel to Mexico and begin to set up on the square. As they are constructing the tower, a crowd begins to assemble. Slowly, more and more people gather to watch them at work. The first guy jumps. He bounces at the end of the cord, but when he comes back up, the second guy notices that he has a few cuts and scratches.

Unfortunately, the second guy isn't able catch him, he falls again, bounces and comes back up again. This time, he is bruised and bleeding. Again, the second guy misses him.

The first guy falls again and bounces back up. This time, he comes back pretty messed up – he's got a couple of broken bones and is almost unconscious. Luckily, the second guy finally catches him this time and says, "What happened? Was the cord too long?"

The first guy says, "No, the cord was fine, but what the heck is a 'pinata'?"
An Englishman, Frenchman, Mexican, and Texan were flying across country on a small plane when the pilot comes on the loud speaker and says "We're having mechanical problems and the only way we can make it to the next airport is for 3 of you to open the door and jump, at least one of you can survive"

The four open the door and look out below. The Englishman takes a deep breath and hollers "God Save The Queen" and jumps.

The Frenchman gets really inspired and hollers "Viva La France" and he also jumps.

This really pumps up the Texan so he hollers "Remember the Alamo" and he grabs the Mexican and throws him out of the plane.

Medical Insurance for a returning American Senior Citizen?

Senior Travel Insurance | Posted by admin
Jun 17 2009

I am trying to ascertain whether my grandmother qualifies for any form of medical insurance plan that would provide comprehensive coverage.

She was born in the state of Michigan, in 1927. She is 82 years of age, had a valid United States Passport despite not living in any of the states until recently. She is able to reapply/renew her passport should this be necessary, and is in possession of her US birth certificate. As she was born in America, she is free to return whenever she pleases and does not have to leave.

In view of her husband's recent death, she intends to travel to the States to live alongside her sister and two daughters until she comes to pass away – there is no longer any reason for her to live in Europe.

Does anyone know whether insuring her is possible?

We have succeeded in getting her travel insurance insofar, as aside from a mild case of thrombosis several years back and for which she takes daily medication, she is very good health and has no other pre-existing conditions.

Please help if you can…Thanks in advance

Who should I sue? My mechanic or my insurance company?

Senior Travel Insurance | Posted by admin
May 23 2009

Nine months ago I had a pretty bad car accident with a deer traveling down the interstate at night. The insurance company (Allstate) sent an adjuster to estimate the damages which he did at 7,000 dollars. One week later a senior adjuster also sent by my insurance comes came back and "adjusted the adjustment" by ,000 stating that the first guy overestimated the amount of repairs. By this time parts had already been ordered and an agreement had already been made with the mechanic regarding his charges. He promised to save us a little money so we used him and not the local dealership.

Some 42 days post accident, he finally returns the car to me. Since the insurance coverage had ended on the rental car 12 days prior and this expense we were paying out of pocket, he returned the car saying that the only thing that was left to be done was to have the air conditioning charged, but that it was okay to drive. I promised to bring it back that weekend and I dropped off the rental car and jumped in mine happy to have it back.

That weekend I take it to him. He says I can't fix it this weekend and to bring it back the next. While I am waiting for the next weekend my front right headlight goes out. This is the side on which the accident occurred and a new headlight assembly was supposedly placed. But that's okay, I thought. I'll see him this weekend and I'll mention it to him then. The next weekend the guy who he needs to charge it is not there, "Let's reschedule." This we do. But he took a look at the headlight and said it just needed a new bulb. So we head over to the dealership, he buys a bulb and we return to his shop for him to put it on. After supposedly putting it on, he taps the hood, and says you're good to go. He has me test the headlights and all. It was during the day and I stayed inside the car, but I trusted that he had replaced the light and the problem was corrected . . . until that night. I turn on my headlights and only one comes on. NO FRONT RIGHT HEADLIGHT! Oh, and I forgot to mention that during the time of these visits my airbag light came on. To make an already long story shorter, I return to his shop over six times in the next few months and it's always a different story. You have a leak in your compressor tube, I have to order another part, I can't do it this weekend, call me next week. The last time I left him the car to work on, it was for four days. I took on the expense of renting a car while he had mine. I called and made an appointment with him. He agreed to work on it that weekend. When I dropped it off to him I reiterated my concerns and what I needed fixed. His exact words were "I got you." That he did! After four days he had not touched my car. Nothing was fixed! I asked him why and he said that it was raining and that he had cars he was painting inside his shop and he couldn't take them out to get to mine. He said he didn't know why my airbag light is on, and get this, that headlight is okay and that he didn't see anything wrong with it.

Meanwhile, my headlight is still out. So, after an oil change I ask the local dealership to take a look at it. They do and tell me that the headlight assembly is broken. But that they could re-wire it, rig it up basically, so that at least it functioned. I agree and this they do.
I also begin to notice that the body work on the car is HORRIBLE!!! There is a gap on the right side between my hood and the front bumper. It's properly aligned on the left but on the right there is a big gap! At an oil change the mechanic at the local dealership mentions to me how bad the paint job is. That he never put on a clear coat on the hood.
The new finds kept amounting so I called the insurance company back and explained them the situation. They tell me that they can only pay once to have damages repaired. If I took it somewhere to get it repaired and later don't like the work that basically its my problem and I have to take that up with the original mechanic.

I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place. My insurance company isn't helping me. I have a car that has depreciated in value significantly. On top of that it's damaged, doesn't even have air conditioning, and is unsafe to drive with the airbag light on( which while is on, the airbag will not deploy in an accident). I'm thoroughly upset. I want the dealership to fix it and fix it right. I don't want the original mechanic to touch my car again. But I know it's going to cost an arm and a leg!

Who do I have the best case against? Do I even have a case?

Who do you book travel insurance through (if USA resident???)?

Senior Travel Insurance | Posted by admin
May 14 2009

Hi, I am wondering if I need to book travel insurance for my mom. She will be traveling with me for about 3 weeks through the USA (hawaii and around the mainland US). Do I need to buy travel insurance for her? She lives in Colorado so does she need travel insurance to go to Hawaii? I don't think she will while going around the mainland either. If she does need insurance, can anyone recommend a good company? She's a senior. Thanks for any help!
