I’m booking online and am on the Easyjet payments page. Under additional charges, there is an item titled hold baggage. It is charged at 6 pounds for 1 piece of hold baggage, weighing up to 20 kg. Does this mean Easyjet charges for the usual 1 piece luggage allowance or additional luggage per usual airlines? Can anyone please help?
Secondly, there is an additional item for travel insurance at .99? Can anyone also tell me if this is useful or just another additional cost?

I called a few Travel Agents in my area and they seem to be less professional than I thought they would be; taking their time calling me back or sending me an email. However, one faxed over a package deal sent to them via BLUESKYTOURS…I matched it to the "T" with Expedia and theirs was less. I even upgraded the room and changed the flight to have 1 stop instead of 2 and Expedia was still less. Are the online travel websites safe to use and do they actually offer the insurance needed to cover me in case anything happens? Any advice would be appreciated!

I’m an old HTML guy… been programming since I was a kid.
I just recently acquired about 15 short *.coms of major US cities that I would like to turn into travel portals/info sites.
At present, I am a member of (I think) FIVE different affiliate programs. I have a clickXchange account and several other affialiate accounts that provide me with integrated hotel listings, rental car listings, traveler’s insurance information, et cetera.
Here’s the deal: this is just a "side project" for me (I also work full time), and the sites are not even fully developed yet, and I am already realizing that this is going to be a ton of work.
I do not want these to become "traffic-catcher" pages. I want to turn them into useful travel sites with the possibility of having repeat visitors and MEANINGFUL traffic. I know I can sign up for landing pages, all-in-one programs, et cetera that will turn these basically into "traffic-catcher" sites, but I do not want to do that.
Any suggestions?

I was in a car accident yesterday. I live in California. I had no insurance at the time, although I was unaware that my girlfriend had not sent in my quarterly paryment and was actually driving without insurance for almost 3 months.
The day after the accident I went in to the Highway Patrol’s office and spoke to the officer who took the report and informed him I discovered I had no insurance. He didnt seem all that concerned and thanked me for going in.
As for the accidnet itself, I belief I will be found at fault as I did not brake in time and rear end a small car who in turn hit the car infront of her. I was traveling at about 30 mph when I started to brake and I heard the firefighter at the seen tell the chp he thought it was 25-30 mph.
If anyone could tell me what I am facing legally and finacially. I read online I will automatically have a one year driver’s license suspension. Is this accurate and is this all? WIll I ge a ticked or fine? I would also like for someone to rule out jail time. The driver immediately infront of me had good damage to the back of her car and was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Her daughter called me the day after the accident and told me she was at her house but wanted her car fixed soon because she wanted to return home in another state. I suggested she call her own insurance and let them know I was inot insured.
THe other driver in front and her passenger were also taken to the hospital with minor injuries and their car had minor damage when I looked at it at the time of the accident. I have not heard from them.
Financially can anyone tell me what I am facing? I understand I will be responsible, but I also understand that the other parties’ insurances will have to cover their own drivers. If so will I simply be responsible for their deductable. I am more concerned with the legal aspects than the financial. I am an single father of three and need to be there for my kids.

My husband already has poison ivy really bad. After us taking care of it and its blisters for days now he had to return to the job he started. After all day of working. He started looking at all the leaves around him. I looked up poison ivy pictures online and guess what!! Yup.. hes been rolling in it all day long. On top of it all, he has been traveling threw our house threw out the entire day with his nasty dirty self.
We do not have the money to go to the doctors and he doesn’t have insurance, yet! Does anybody know how much the hydro-cortisone shot would cost us if he did go get it? And any suggestions to what I can use to clean the entire house of any oils?? He took a cold shower so far but I doubt it will do any help. One more thing? We have a 2 yo and a 5 yo can they catch it that young?

I have two broken verts, crushed discs, and permanent nerve damage from a horrific surfing accident. I was tow-surfing in Todos, went over on a 40 foot wave, and then was run over by the jet-ski that was supposed to be rescuing me from getting hurt in the first place.
Now, I live in chronic pain. It is never ending. I am 28, and do nothing but hurt. Doctors are too scared to write anything (Rx wise) that offers relief. I’ve even had them say point blank "you should be on Oxy, or something equally as strong, but I am scared to write it because of the government and how they have become."
So, I was forced online. Forced to research all the place, the good, bad and ugly. There are about 7 legitimate sources, all based out of Tijuana/San Ysidro, California. But, there’s only one that I use now because it’s almost half the price of the others. painsaverrx@hushmail.com it has a private webpage. Yup, done the f-free, f-turnaround.com, etc, etc…But those were like 530 bucks for 10 80’s.
I am just so frustrated. I still want to live a good life, and to me that is as pain free as possible–even if it has to include a lot of STRONG medications that are addicting. Addict me, make me an addict, I don’t care, because anything less than that is so painful that at times I question even wanting to live. I still want to skate, surf, date, love, travel, hike, etc…I still look good on the outside, but I am so hurt on the insidebecause of the pain and injury that I feel life is flying by me.
Instead, to get relief, I have to pay 1500 USD for 50 OC 80’s, and their freebies (bottle of roxicet, and a few roxicodone) from painsaverrx@hushmail.com
Why? I have great insurance. I shouldn’t pay a thing. I should use that 2 grand each month on fun, on women, on travels, on a cooler place to live, on a better car, etc….But, I can’t, I spend all my extra money on pain meds just so I can get out of bed every morning to face the world.

I am in the gym every single day for a minimum of two hours. I am at a place called "The Institute for Progressive Medicine" three days a week for massage (sport and pain), accupressure, accupuncture, hydrotherapy, etc, etc…I have done everything, and still do everything because I PRAY there is a better life. BUT, sadly, pills are the one thing that helps above all. But, Doctors I have seen are all too scared to write anything (prescription) that offers real relief. They give out just enough to keep me from hiding in a corner in tears all day. I have a Pain Management Doctor who has been raided 4 times by the DEA, so even though he tells me I need "X" medication, he won’t write it because "so many Doctors have gone to prison and lost their license because this administration considers pain meds as serious as heroin

I live in Las Vegas and will be taking a vacation to Cancun in August. I have found some pretty good deals online, but I would like an actual travel agaent to work out all of the details like insurance and the other necessities. This is my first time planning a trip and I so I’d rather have help with all the things I havent even thought about. If anyone knows a good agency in Las Vegas or at least a National Agency in the US that has easy access to an agent by phone, that would be great. For two adults on two cars, basic AAA is more expensive by (or , I can’t remember) than getting emergency road service from my insurer, and AAA Plus is considerably more. I don’t know, however, whether the coverage is essentially the same. The insurance appears to cover some towing and up to one hour of onsite labor (to replace a flat, I assume).
I like AAA’s maps and Triptiks, but I’m likely to buy a GPS soon (any suggestions under 0?) and do a lot of online travel research, so those benefits are diminishing in value.

The thing is that a lot of the insurances that come up are quite a bit cheaper on moneysupermarket.com than on the official websites of the insurance companies.
I am not sure what to do. If I take out an insurance over moneysupermarket.com is it still going to be effective? I am just confused because of the price differences. Do they have some sort of deal with insurance companies that would justify the different pricing?

I’m going to Holland, Germany and Ireland for around 10 days in March.
I was in hospital around a year ago after a major lung haemorrhage. The cause of it was never found and since then my doctors have been taking a "watch and wait" appraoch to it. I obviously need travel insurance when I go on holiday and will need to declare this health scare, but because no cause for it was found, I was never diagnosed and thus don’t have a name for what was wrong.
All online travel insurance companies need you to give the name of whatever condition you have, but I don’t have a name for it other than "I coughed up blood a year ago".

They will only treat you for non-emergencies with the E111 card, like if you twist your ankle or something. For real emergencies you get charged. I’ve been told its a must to get it.
