Is it true that the Republican plan will add 3 million more people to HealthCare because it gives us a choice?

Now I heard about the Republican plan, and I like it because 30 million people in American are uninsured. So calculating the numbers
12-20 million are illegal aliens – who have no right to be here.
That leaves us with 8-18 million Americans who really don’t have health insurance, out of that which ones are college and young adults who chose not to have health insurance because they want a new car, a new tv around 8-10 million young kids, now then we are left with 8 million people who need health care now some of these are older people who don’t want them because they want to go on a cruise or buy a house at the beach but are still young to qualify for Medicaid/Medicare but will do so in a few years so they don’t want it. 5 million, and that leaves us with the 3 million Americans that really need health care.

So all in all, the Republicans plan will cover those Americans choosing to have health care, not the ones that don’t want it to be forced on them, which is the pinnacle of American society and freedom.
Their Plan outlines:
Purchasing insurance across state lines
Tort reform
No denying preexisting conditions
Tax credits to those that buy insurance on their own. and many more

The majority of the people who don’t have health care are younger, single people who don’t get sick. I didn’t have insurance until I had kids. I wasn’t going to pay $150 a week for something I was never going to use. Now that I’m older and this body is wearing out I pay it.

think you answered your own good question. I agree with the repubs.

  3. Bart Pimpson says:

Don’t you think if that plan was as immaculate as you are assuming that it would be passed into law immediately?

Republican plan = Act like they have a plan, so they can point to a lame duck as an alternative.. Even if Democrats jumped on their "plan", Republicans would vote it down…. They don’t want to do anything… That is the real plan..

  5. ironman5x2 says:

All of this sounds and looks good however the powers that be, do not want it because they would not be able to have the control over us.

The Dem’s plan is to have control and whoever has control gets the votes. I cannot see why Americans cannot see that politicians are only concerned with the next vote. Obama came out in the televised town hall meeting he had and said they would take care of seniors because they vote and vote in heavy numbers. If that’s not proof enough they buy votes, I don’t know what is.

You are pathetic. You republicans don’t get it, your plan doesn’t work. And it doesn’t protect the consumer of insurance or reduce cost. It also doesn’t keep insurance company from denying health care for preexisting conditions, or from being drop from it. And the people counted are not illegals. they are legal citizens. Your logic is fallible, the republicans plan was debunked yesterday.

If republicans wanted to pass health care reform, why do you think they failed to even introduce it when they were in office as the majority.

Their plan is no plan. They don’t care whether or not you have insurance. The republican party is pro-corporation, not pro-people.

All of these things remove opportunities for individuals to become extravagantly wealthy at the expense of all others in a particular group. Liberals hate losing those opportunities.

IF we could both pass this AND outlaw and replace production-based taxes with consumption-based taxes, we just might rescue our economy.

    "You are pathetic."

    Alinsky, Rule 5

    "You republicans don’t get it,

    Rule 5

    "your plan doesn’t work."

A-priori assumption, similar to those used by "higher critics," a liberal version of a think-tank…

"And it doesn’t protect the consumer of insurance or reduce cost."

It is proven to protect the consumer and reduce cost.. If companies don’t have these fears of billion-dollar lawsuits to worry about, they are free to innovate and improve medical science, and they are also free to charge lower rates without need for higher insurance premiums.

"It also doesn’t keep insurance company from denying health care for preexisting conditions,"

    Yes, it does. You lie.

" or from being drop from it. "

    Really? Explain yourself.

"And the people counted are not illegals."

Yes, they are, according to the Census Bureau. Get your facts straight.

    " they are legal citizens."

    Right. Sell many bridges lately??

" Your logic is fallible, the republicans plan was debunked yesterday."

No, it wasn’t. No real reference was made to it, except that Obama claimed it wouldn’t work. Obama is a pathological liar, like some Y!A users I know of . . .

"If republicans wanted to pass health care reform, why do you think they failed to even introduce it when they were in office as the majority."

    Ever hear of a filibuster?

Have you examined the record? They DID try to introduce all those aspects and didn’t manage to bring them to the floor, because unlike the democrats, they kept their committees balanced and bipartisan.

    "Their plan is no plan."

You haven’t read it, have you?

"They don’t care whether or not you have insurance."

    Assuming a little, aren’t you?

"The republican party is pro-corporation, not pro-people."

    Wrong.
First, favoring development of capital favors economic growth, which is how we fund everything and help people feed their families.
Second, Republican support comes more from grass roots than does DNC support.

You are nothing but a communist agitator.

The links that detail the GOP plans are here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-usmvYOPfco http://www.gop.gov/solutions/healthcare I hope you find them of use.

Why does no other developed nation have the US model of healthcare? Because in the US model, insurance companies use death panels to deny care to those they are meant to cover. And then they raise costs [1]. Not only does the USA spend more on healthcare than any other nation [2], it finds itself bottom of the table when it comes to preventable deaths due to treatable conditions when it comes to developed nations [3]. The sad thing is that rather than focus on these things, the right spreads lies and half truths about the reforms and how healthcare works abroad [4]. But, if you think that my points are wrong, e-mail me with proof.
