My family and I planned and booked a trip to Playa Del Carmen about three months ago. We are set to leave next Saturday. We knew that we would go, so we didn’t get travel insurance. But, there is no way we could’ve planned for a possible pandemic. Is it advisable to go with all the reported cases of swine flu?
After careful consideration, barring any official travel warning for Playa Del Carmen and the surrounding areas, I have decided to go. It seems that worrying about it at this point is almost the same as worrying about drug violence in other parts; Pretty much useless.

I’m in Jerusalem right now and will be living here for 2 years. I’d like to insure my laptop against damage, theft, and electrical surge. I can’t find any place online that will do this in Israel, and no US company will because Israel has a "travel warning." Where can I get my laptop insured here?
